Overview

The HR Support Coordinator is responsible for processing employee records. This position also acts as a liaison between store personnel and the corporate office.

Essential Functions

The HR Support Coordinator is responsible for:

  •  

 

  • Processes employment transactions such as: entering new hire information, background checks, terminations, transfers or other employment status/information changes into the HCM
  • Provides continuous interaction and customer service to store personnel and other corporate departments
  • Scans and files team member paperwork into virtual file room
  • Performs other administrative work as directed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associates of Arts degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources or similar administrative skills attained in retail or an equivalent environment
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work with software and create spreadsheet information
  • Capacity to work with diverse groups of individuals and have great interpersonal communication skills
  • Have a friendly and positive attitude coupled with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Must be extremely reliable and dependable
  • Must have a great attention to detail and ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to handle matters of a confidential nature and ability to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Familiar with general office equipment such as fax, PC and copier
