The Talent Advisor for the Colorado Market is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates to fill organizational roles aligned to the Regional Directors in their assigned Regions. The Talent Advisor (TA) will effectively and efficiently support hiring in primarily Management roles for our stores. The TA may work closely with the Talent Acquisition Leader to develop a plan for staffing store level positions in outlier stores. This is a critical role to help build our store teams in the Colorado Market and will be based within the territory.



Essential Functions

  • Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.
  • Reviews and assesses applicant’s education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
  • Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and performs reference and background checks.
  • Schedules interviews and coordinates with Store Managers and Regional Directors.
  • Gathers feedback from interviewers.
  • Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Prepares and extends job offers and notifies applicants that are not selected.
  • Meets with stores teams as necessary, utilizing store walk checklists
  • Proactively plan for openings and participates in company succession planning discussion with oversight from TA Leader.
  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition leadership to develop staffing action plans.
  • Participates in Talent Acquisition projects


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

Possesses beginning to working knowledge of recruiting practices for grocery or stores environments.

  • Experience in a Sprouts Store is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to handles basic issues and problems as they arise, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred




  • Customer service acumen and strong sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Action oriented and strong work ethic.
  • Interpersonal skills and time management skills will also be important in this role.

  • Most work is performed in a normal office environment
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Operate a variety of standard office equipment including a computer, telephone, calculator, copy and fax machine requiring continuous and repetitive arm, hand and eye movement
  • Travel to/from meetings and to various locations
