    We are 27,000 team members with one common purpose: inspire, educate and empower every person to eat healthier and live a better life.  Join our Human Resources team as a Regional Human Resources Advisor, supporting 5 states in the East.  This position will be based in Tennessee and will work closely with our store teams and support what we do best - take care of our customers. 

    This position will plan and coordinate human resource activities  to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain balance of operational needs, Sprouts culture and regulatory compliance.

    This position has a dual role of balancing the operational demands of the stores in an assigned region with the legal aspects of human resources management and employee relations, including but not limited to: Provides Employee Relations (ER) advice and (HR) policy interpretation to Managers and Team Members. Responsible and accountable for employee relation (ER) function in a defined region, including overall ER case management and identification of trends; promote a positive work environment for Team Members through resolution of broad-based ER issues; support and provide counsel on complex, highly sensitive or high risk cases, documentation, and recommendations; ensure consistent and fair application among regional team; conduct investigations as needed. Establish strategic partnerships with leaders which must be demonstrated by strong sphere of influence with leadership on all matters. Develop strategies and execute HR initiatives such as talent mgmt., promotion planning, succession planning, performance mgmt, salary planning, talent engagement and retention and leadership development. Facilitate Workforce Development learning solutions. Analyze data, identify resources and formulate recommendations and/or propose solutions to drive HR and business initiatives. Work with Talent Director, HR Director and Sr HRA on organizational effectiveness strategies for Region(s).



    Essential Functions

    • Maintains strategic presence in stores to promote the Sprouts culture, ascertain areas where improvements can be made, and develop suggested action plans for Regional Manager.

    • Support managers in the succession planning process, including assistance in developing performance plans.
    • Responsible for ensuring effective communication of business strategies and policy changes.
    • Participate on large scale company-wide projects through successful completion.
    • Support the Department as needed in creating, executing and monitoring HR strategy.
    • Anticipate and identify and respond to issues that indicate a problematic work environment.
    • Deliver education to managers and team members to promote a positive work environment and minimize risk of team member related issues (where subject matter expertise is required).
    • Advise/assist/counsel Regional Directors, Store Managers, and store Team Members.
    • Act as a liaison between field and support office and support operational initiatives through communication and review.
    • In partnership with Employee Relations, conduct investigations in response to high level team member or manager incidents and complaints; involve appropriate departments as needed.
    • Collaborate/consult with managers on low performers and termination decisions.
    • Establish successful relationships with field management as evidenced by ability to influence HR-related decisions and initiatives.
    • In depth knowledge of HR principles and practices and extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements desired.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in HR or business related field (equivalent work experience considered).
    • Multi-location/multi-site Human Resources oversight experience preferred.
    • A minimum of three years of HR management-business partnership experience with three years’ experience with a demonstrated track record in an employee relations/employment law role.
    • One year leadership skills.
    • Travel required across 5 state Region.
    • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills are essential.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
