  • Overview

    The Project Coordinator for Deal Management is responsible for leading and coordinating training efforts in support of the launch, implementation and maintenance of Sprouts’ deal management system. The Project Coordinator will perform frequent individual and group training sessions with internal team members during the rollout and training phases, ensuring proper execution throughout all departments. The Project Coordinator partners closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including IT, Merchandising, Marketing, Data Integrity, Pricing and Business Intelligence to drive program success.

    Essential Functions

    • Supports change management efforts to drive adoption of the new deal management system, processes and solutions. Partners with deal management product team to coordinate development and training of tool for promotional modeling, planning and execution.
    • Leads and coordinates efforts to successfully execute training, monitoring, and follow-up training for each department using the deal management system.
    • Acts as a liaison between the merchandising group, other internal partners, and outside vendors, as it relates to the deal management system.
    • Works with merchandising and marketing to coordinate capture of product images for deal management system.
    • Maintains a high level of execution of the deal management system through routine reporting and effective communication.
    • Responds to vendor inquiries sent through the product management email box.
    • Monitors and evaluates the system’s effectiveness and makes adjustments where necessary.
    • Keeps informed on new and relevant information that could enhance the knowledge of deal management users.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert for the deal management system.
    • Provides technical product support as required to troubleshoot issues and problems surfaced or identified by users.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience related to perishable retail purchasing, marketing and/or merchandising. Supermarket grocery experience required.
    • Previous retail leadership experience strongly preferred.
    • Requires outstanding communication skills and a highly-collaborative approach to project management that demonstrates the ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
    • Requires experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • High degree of creativity and ability to work independently.
