  • Overview

    The Vendor Management Analyst will perform a variety of professional duties related to 3rd party distributor operations. To include, but not limited to, performing audits, ensuring compliance, conducting analysis of data, providing effective reporting and monitoring service levels. The Vendor Management Analyst will work cross functionally with the 3rd Party Vendor Partners, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance Teams to support and manage the development and tracking of key department objectives and initiatives for growth.

    Essential Functions

    • Serve as the point of contact for Sprouts internal support teams on 3rd party contractual matters. Act as contractual “middleman” between identified Sprouts Teams and 3rd party vendor partners, ensuring timely review and approval / reconciliation of variations.
    • Analyze and monitor 3rd party contract compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
    • Provide analytical support and reporting related to 3rd party vendor contract terms.
    • As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to Merchandising Teams or other Operational staff, including training to new Team Members on contract practices and procedures.
    • Monitor contract compliance with established procedures. Identify areas of opportunities to improve and suggest ideas to optimize contract terms.
    • Work with Audit / Accounting departments to coordinate contractual obligations and rebates.
    • Work with Sprouts Supply Chain Team to ensure we are optimizing terms of 3rd party contracts.
    • Work with Sprouts Brand Team to ensure we are optimizing terms of 3rd party contracts
    • Monitor customer satisfaction with our terms and conditions and contracting practices. Recommend changes.
    • Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
    • Handle on-going 3rd party issue and change management
    • Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance
    • Other tasks as assigned by management.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

     

    • Bachelor Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Two (3+) years of experience related to Audit, Supply Chain and Accounting/Finance highly preferred
    • Requires outstanding communication skills amongst a strong interpersonal attitude that demonstrates organization, multi-tasking and prioritization
    • Requires experience in Microsoft Suite, with a high level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • High degree of creativity and ability to work independently
