  • Overview

    The Manager, Talent Acquisition – Store Support is responsible for executing the acquisition strategy to attract top talent to Sprouts Farmers Market in the store support (corporate office), and so that we may provide a differentiated customer experience for our guests. This role will support the team member value proposition and employer brand to ensure Sprouts is an employer of choice in a dynamic and competitive employment market. The Manager, TA has responsibility for effectively and efficiently staffing open roles within the Sprouts Store Support office through proactive sourcing efforts, and focused staffing plans. This position is critical to overall candidate experience, partners closely with the Division HR leaders and supports the Hiring Managers within the Store Support office.

    Essential Functions

     

     

         Store Support Talent Acquisition

    • Manages Store Support recruitment function and oversees the recruitment process to: recruit, screen, and interview individuals to fill organizational roles for store support.
    • Full cycle recruiting for our merchant, buying, business intelligence and merchandising services teams to build a robust candidate pipeline.
    • Oversight for effective recruiting in all store support areas.
    • Supports and leads programs to build candidate pipelines across the organization.
    • Reviews and assesses applicant’s education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
    • Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and performs reference and background checks.
    • Schedules interviews and coordinates with Hiring Managers.
    • Lead, coach and mentor store support talent team and acts as onsite support for the non-exempt Team Member recruiters who support field hiring.
    • Works to ensure a nimble and effective hiring process for new team members.

    Marketing & Employment Branding

    • Collaborates with marketing, communications and PR to create and maintain a robust communication plan, in store marketing and online advertising.
    • Support internal communications for HR news, internal job postings, store updates and store support communications.
    • Support design, reorder and pricing management for recruiting kits, new collateral and job fair marketing/ supplies.
    • Manage digital library for job boards, social and online recruiting assets.

     

         Team Management

    • Develop, coach and manage Team Member Recruiters and Talent Acquisition team through regular check-ins, training and coaching/ feedback.
    • Responsible for effective communication across the Talent team, available as a resource and builds partnership with HR team.
    • Support talent acquisition surveys, score cards and ROI on recruiting spend.
    • Works with compensation to ensure market competitive offers and adhere to budget requirements by department.
    • Manages large scale projects aligned to Talent Acquisition initiatives.

     

     

     

     

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

    • 5+ or more years of experience in grocery or retail recruiting required.
    • Performs complex tasks with little oversight.
    • Leads and directs the work of talent acquisition team members.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of hiring practices and legal requirements.
    • Understanding of applicant tracking systems – preferred experience implementing a new ATS or acting in an Admin capacity.
    • Proven ability to manage large projects and ability to work in cross functional teams.
    • Experience creating recruiting collateral or candidate engagement campaigns preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
