  • Overview


    The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for keeping multiple stores safe and profitable at all times by executing company programs and investigating any suspicious customer or team member activities or behavior in their assigned stores.


    Essential Functions

    • Manage shrink control and loss prevention program in stores to meet inventory shrink goals
    • Conduct internal and external investigations
    • Conduct and direct internal investigative activities throughout the assigned area
    • Manage budget and monitor expenditures
    • Complete incident reports and submit weekly summary to Loss Prevention Manager
    • Manage the shrink programs in high-risk stores to ensure compliance levels meet company standard and shrinkage goals are achieved
    • Ensure compliance and participation in the organizations Awareness Program
    • Provide training to management and team members as needed on Shrink control programs
    • Provide new store orientation training and Power Equipment Trainer Certification

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements


    • Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice or related field desired, or equivalent amount of education and experience
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in loss prevention in a multi-store environment
    • Required completion of Wicklander-Zulawski basic and advanced interview training
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; including Microsoft Office and Excel
    • Excellent phone interviewing skills
    • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
    • Superior communication skills
