    The NSD Coordinator is a critical team member in the New Store Development umbrella as they have visibility and coordination of everything that comes into the department from start to finish. This position is held by a forward-thinking, detail oriented and organized individual. This position reports directly to the Real Estate Projects Manager and will oversee all construction coordination, working cohesively with internal and external partners to maintain a fluid business operation within the construction wing of Sprouts Farmers Market. This team member is responsible for insuring all construction projects are completed to our standard in a timely and compliant manner. This team member will also maintain relationships with vendors, developers and general contractors.



    Essential Functions

    • Work daily with Construction Project Managers to insure all projects are on track and running smoothly
    • Oversee and update the construction update schedule
    • Create and maintain an archive for all construction and architecture related documents to insure SOX compliance
    • Prepare construction updates for ongoing projects to be presented each month at committee meetings
    • Main point of contact for vendors and general contractors; insuring these external partners are set up correctly in our systems and maintaining constant communications in regard to ongoing projects
    • Confirm all new store addresses within the pipeline and communicate to the business
    • Monitor and oversee the project manager’s budget and spend
    • Manages FieldWire;
      • Set up new projects as requested by Project Managers.
      • Maintain project folder structure to be consistent and accessible for Architects, Project Managers and General Contractors to access while in the field.
      • Coordinate educational training sessions.
      • Serve as point of contact for Architects, Project Managers and General Contractors.
    • Small Projects
      • Create/Manage the Remodel Playbook.
      • Manage floor polishing contracts,
      • Organize Shared Drive Folder Structure
      • Administer GC bid list.
    • Run ad-hoc reports to supply the executive team with better data to report on
    • Schedule, adjust and/or coordinate support for the VP Construction and Sr. Director Construction
    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

    • High School Diploma required with a preference of some college and/or a BA degree
    • Prior experience in a fast-paced working environment with administrative and/or project coordination and management skills
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to adapt well in a fast-paced working environment with a strong sense of resiliency
    • Excellent communication and time management skills
    • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Acclimated with publishing bids, budget tracking, and Letter of Intent.
    • Independent management to get the job done and notice when help is needed.
