The Category Manager plans and directs all aspects of product development policies, programs, objectives, and initiatives with oversight from the Director, Body Care & Mercantile. This position researches new products, product enhancements, and product redesign that are consistent in meeting the expectations of Sprouts minimum standards for the department. The Category Manager analyzes past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield. This position selects, orders, and authorizes payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements.
The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Coordinator is to ensure accurate payment processing in accordance with the company’s internal control processes and procedures. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing various portions of the Accounts Payable daily functions. Overseeing of high volume vendor payments, check requests, as well as daily system interface updates are to be considered part of this responsibility. The ideal candidate should be process oriented, a team player and have the capacity of addressing and managing the work load of other associates whose work they review.
The Procurement Coordinator provides high level, precise procurement support to the New Store Development Team. A key component of this position is the dissemination of the Construction Fixture plans and determining which items need to be purchased for each unique new Sprouts store or remodel project and then issuing those PO’s with our Procurement System, Coupa. The position works extensively across each Business unit, including IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, as well as with a large contingent of Sprouts Vendor partners. This position drafts correspondence, creates reports, and coordinates special projects.
The Payroll Garnishment Specialist is responsible for compiling, submitting and tracking employee withholding orders using an automated case management system and the Payroll/HR software. This person will have a working knowledge of Garnishment law and be able to handle Team Member inquiries with regards to withholding orders. This position will also be responsible for calculating some retro pay on a weekly basis and serving as a back-up to assist with Payroll Coordinator duties as needed.
Plan, direct and coordinate human resource management activities of an assigned region to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain balance of operational needs, Sprouts culture and regulatory compliance.
This position has a dual role of balancing the operational demands of the stores in an assigned region with the legal aspects of human resources management and employee relations, including but not limited to:
- Provides Employee Relations (ER) advice and (HR) policy interpretation to Managers and TMs.
- Responsible and accountable for employee relation (ER) function in a defined region, including overall ER case management and identification of trend.
- Promote a positive work environment for TMs through resolution of broad-based ER issues.
- Support and provide counsel on complex, highly sensitive or high risk cases, documentation, and recommendations.
- Ensure consistent and fair application among regional team.
- Conduct investigations as needed.
- Establish strategic partnerships with leaders which must be demonstrated by strong sphere of influence with leadership on all matters.
- Develop strategies and execute HR initiatives such as talent mgmt., promotion planning, succession planning, performance mgmt, salary planning, talent engagement and retention and leadership development.
- Facilitate Workforce Development learning solutions.
- Analyze data, identify resources and formulate recommendations and/or propose solutions to drive HR and business initiatives.
- Work with Talent Advisor on organizational effectiveness strategies for Region.
The Private Label Department Specialist is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and developing the Private Label and merchandising departments. This position will remain current on the performances of all Private Label products ensuring timely product enhancement; requires visiting stores often to ensure proper merchandising techniques are in place. This position will also work with Category Managers to ensure proper inventory, pricing and placement of Private Label products.
The Sr. Manager, Strategy and Analysis will directly support the strategic planning, research and analysis activities of Sprouts’ Strategy and Business Development team. The primary focus of this position will be to assist the SVP, Business Development with research on strategic topics, assist in the development of strategic planning activities, analyses, modeling and presentations. These activities are time-sensitive, deadline-driven and may deal with highly-sensitive and confidential information. The individual in this position must be a self-starter, logical, detail-oriented, reliable, trustworthy and conscientious, as well as have a significant understanding of strategic concepts, researching, analysis and business acumen.
This role is instrumental in the creation of internal and external financial reporting and assisting in technical accounting research. Responsibilities will be primarily focused on the day to day coordination and preparation of the Company’s financial reporting and assisting with researching technical accounting issues and drafting related documentation. The position requires an individual with strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements and preparing documentation for financial reporting. Position will report to Manager, Financial Reporting and interact with the Director of Accounting and Controller.
The Grocery Category Coordinator supports the Director of Grocery in all relevant areas of the business. Under the direction of the Director of Grocery, the Grocery Category Coordinator will support retail item and price management, business report development and analysis, creation and distribution of department business tools, and support collaborative objectives between procurement, merchandising, and pricing.
The Schematic Specialist/Analyst assists in the management of analytical databases and programs while providing support to the Schematic Technology Manager. They also perform category reviews which uses predefined templates in MS Excel and Symphony EYC Space Planning. They assess schematic assortment performance and make recommended improvements. This includes accommodating decisions for new and discontinued items, working closely with the Category Manager, the Schematic Technology Manager and supplier partners. Analytical skill and experience developed in this role provide important insight into assortment performance and future modifications. The Schematic Analyst also develops and maintains financial and other reports to display progress of the department.
- This position supports Sprouts Farmer’s Market Supply Chain managing vendor account services to include accounts-payable processing, purchasing workflow, vendor setup, vendor relations, monthly vendor statement reconciliation and weekly payables reconciliation process.
- This role will require excellent time management, problem solving, analytical, and customer service skills.
- This person will work closely with vendor contacts, procurement teams, logistics and corporate accounting to ensure timely and accurate inventory, financial reporting, invoice payment and purchase order discrepancies are resolved.
- This person will be expected to identify and implement process efficiencies to improve overall vendor account and inventory KPIs.
The Facility Engineering Maintenance Manager manages the majority of issues related to various preventative and reactionary maintenance to assure the efficient operation of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for all Sprouts’ stores and facilities. This position ensures maintenance procedures are completed in a timely and effective manner with the least disruption to operations.
The Director of Procurement will provide leadership and direction to the strategic development of procurement within Sprouts Farmers Market. The primary purpose of the position is to drive value, cost savings and results across all spend categories and execute strategic procurement plans for the growing business. Primary responsibilities will include driving competitive capital and goods; communication of initiatives; alignment of robust category strategies with business requirements; strategically sourcing and negotiating contracts; and maintaining efficient sourcing operations. The Director of Procurement will contribute significantly to establishing and developing a profound world-class sourcing and procurement organization within Sprouts and is accountable for achieving assigned cost savings targets.
The Brand Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Brand Team, Regional Marketing Team and Creative Team to assist in coordinating and fulfilling requests for grand opening and regional marketing print materials as well as supporting various department initiatives. The Support Desk Technician is a versatile, high profile position responsible for providing hardware, software, and systems support. The position will provide remote assistance for Team Members located at the corporate office, retail stores, warehouse facilities, and various remote field locations. Primary responsibilities for this position include troubleshooting and providing end-user guidance on the functions and features of all systems available to Sprouts Team Members.
HOURS: Thursday-Monday 7 AM - 4 PM
The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting Project Managers on a variety of tasks. Examples of this may include schedule development, task and status tracking, meeting and team calendar management, RAID log ownership and maintenance, Epic and Story updates, as well as assisting with any overall Project and Sprint Planning. Ideally, this is an early-career position that will provide opportunities to gain experience in all aspects of IT Project Management. Demonstrating consistent capability will result in increasing levels of responsibility, independence, and opportunity.
The Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities include general administrative tasks such as event coordination, making travel and meeting arrangements, gathering, documenting and preparing reports and financial data and various customer relations duties. The position requires strong analytical, as well as computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, analysts, and internal and external customers.
The Produce Buyer is responsible for procuring the highest quality product and grade product at the best market cost. The Produce Buyer executes promotional program negotiations and daily supplier performance management. The Produce Buyer manages inventory properly by following best practices in forecasting, inventory management and proactive decision making with the support of the Sr. Produce Procurement Manager.
The Scheduling Coordinator is an overall support position within the Merchandising Services Department. This individual will be responsible for two-way communication between the Sprouts Support Office and the vendor community. Developing schedules and maintaining accurate records is essential. Being organized and being able to plan and prioritize the workload are vital to success in this role. Other duties could involve attending planning meetings, updating calendar of reset projects, contributing to process teams and other responsibilities as directed by the Merchandising Services Manager.
